Project for Empty Space Gallery: BODY FREEDOM FOR EVERY(BODY) 2024 TOUR
Being part of the Body Freedom for Every(Body) 2024 Tour Exhibition at Project for Empty Space feels deeply meaningful, especially at a time when conversations around bodily autonomy, gender identity, and reproductive justice are more urgent than ever. The exhibition, running from February 15th through April 4th, 2025, brings together over 100 works that explore these themes through a range of artistic perspectives.
The "Ideal Form Series" represents a collision between my current and teenage self, existing in our 'dream womb.'
The Body Freedom for Every(Body) initiative began as a mobile exhibition, traveling nearly 10,000 miles across the United States, wrapped in Barbara Kruger's iconic "Your Body Is A Battleground." The tour included stops in over 10 cities, engaging thousands in conversations about agency, autonomy, and choice in healthcare and individual identity.
Participating in this exhibition alongside fellow artists committed to social commentary is a profound honor. I invite you to visit Project for Empty Space to experience the exhibition firsthand and engage with the conversations these artworks provoke.
