'Got any sexier ones?' featured in Metaphysique at Buckham Gallery in Flint, MI
I've got some really exciting news to share with you all! My sculpture, 'Got any sexier ones?', has been selected to be a part of the Metaphysique exhibition at the Buckham Gallery. It's a huge honor and I couldn't be more thrilled about it!
The inspiration behind 'Got any sexier ones?' came from a rather demeaning encounter I had online. A man I was chatting with asked me if I had sexier photos compared to what I had posted on my profile. The image that came to mind was bringing the photo in question to life, thus creating a more than life-sized, heavy, vibrant, pillowed woman. She is still as unattainable and sexy as she is online.
Hope to see you at the opening on Friday, April 12 from 6 - 9 p.m. at Buckham Gallery, located at 121 W. Second Street, Flint, MI 49502.
